In early December 1993, Lock and Dam 6, located at Trempealeau, WI, was dewatered for major maintenance and repair. The dewatering provided an opportunity to collect information on the density of zebra mussels on a fixed structure, specifically lock walls, gates, and other structures within the chamber.
